FAQ

Small answers before you need support.

Does Wi-Fi QR upload my network password?

No. Saved networks stay on your device. The app does not have an account, server sync, ads, analytics, or tracking.

Why does the app ask for location permission?

iOS requires location permission before an app can read the current Wi-Fi network name. Wi-Fi QR uses it only for that SSID shortcut.

Can I use it for hidden networks?

Yes. Add the network manually and enable the hidden network option before generating the QR code.

How do guests join?

They scan the QR code with the iPhone Camera app and confirm the Wi-Fi join prompt.
