How do I make a QR code?

Add a network name and password, choose the security type, then generate the QR code. Guests can scan it with the iPhone Camera app.

Why does the app ask for location permission?

iOS requires location permission before apps can read the current Wi-Fi network name. Wi-Fi QR uses it only to fill in the SSID.

Can I add a hidden network?

Yes. Enter the network manually and enable the hidden network option before generating the QR code.

Can I share or print the QR code?

Yes. Use the iOS share sheet from the QR screen to send, save, print, or place the image somewhere useful.

Where are saved networks stored?

Saved networks are stored locally on your device so Wi-Fi QR can regenerate QR codes later.

Does the app collect analytics?

No. Wi-Fi QR has no accounts, ads, tracking, analytics SDK, or developer-operated server upload.

Share Carefully

A Wi-Fi QR code can contain your network password. Share QR codes only with people you trust.
