Overview

SwingCoach counts your kettlebell swings and gives form cues with your iPhone camera. The app does its analysis on your devices. It has no account, records no video, and uploads nothing to us. Version 1.0 sends no analytics and has no in-app purchases.

Camera

SwingCoach uses the camera only while you set up, do the five-swing check, or train. Apple Vision finds your body position on the iPhone.

• The app does not record video.
• Camera frames and body measurements are not uploaded.
• We do not see your camera image at any time.

Data Stored on Your iPhone

SwingCoach keeps these items in its local storage on your iPhone:

• Your answers to the setup questions and your starter plan.
• Completed workouts: rep counts, ratings, and form trends for History.
• Rep snapshots, if you turn on Keep key rep snapshots. These are still images of the deepest hinge and the final lockout of a rep, with the measured angles. They are not video.
• Your training schedule and reminder times.

This data does not leave your device, except through your own iPhone or iCloud backups. We do not have access to it.

Apple Watch and Apple Health

The Apple Watch app is optional. If you use it, the Watch asks for Health access to:

• Read your heart rate and active energy during a workout.
• Save the workout to Apple Health as a Functional Strength Training workout.

The Watch can also use wrist motion during an active workout to help with swing timing. The Watch and the iPhone send workout state, controls, and these values to each other directly. Health and motion data stay on your devices and in Apple Health. We never receive them, and they are not used for advertising.

Notifications

If you turn on training reminders, the iPhone schedules them on the device. No server sends them.

Analytics

Version 1.0 does not send usage analytics. The app contains the TelemetryDeck analytics package, but it is not set up in this version, so it sends nothing. If a future version turns on analytics, we will update this policy first. Analytics will never include camera images or coaching measurements.

Purchases

SwingCoach 1.0 is free and has no in-app purchases. The app contains the RevenueCat purchases package, but it is not set up in this version, so it sends nothing.

No Accounts, Ads, or Tracking

SwingCoach has no sign-up or login. It shows no ads, shares no data with advertising networks, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Deleting Your Data

To delete all SwingCoach data from your iPhone, delete the app. To remove workouts that the Watch saved to Apple Health, open the Health app. To stop Health access, open the Health app or the Settings app.

This Website

This policy is about the SwingCoach app. The yoloabdo.com website uses Google Analytics to count page visits. That does not apply to the app.

Children's Privacy

SwingCoach does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app sends no personal data from any user to us.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the changes on this page with a new date.
