What sports does Tally support?

Tally supports 6 sports with full scoring rules: Basketball (4 quarters), Soccer (2 halves), Tennis (best of 3 sets), Ping Pong (best of 5 games), Volleyball (best of 3 sets), and a Generic mode for any custom game.

Which Apple TV models are supported?

Tally requires tvOS 17 or later and works on both Apple TV 4K (all generations) and Apple TV HD.

Can I customize team names?

Yes. When starting a new game, you can set custom names for both teams in the setup screen.

How do I access the controls during a game?

Press the Menu button on your Siri Remote to show the controls overlay. From there you can undo, adjust the timer, switch periods, and more.

Does Tally support VoiceOver?

Yes. Tally has full VoiceOver support throughout the app. It also respects the Reduce Motion accessibility setting.

Can I turn off the sound effects?

Yes. You can mute score sounds, the timer buzzer, and the game over fanfare from the controls overlay.

Is there a subscription?

No. Tally is a one-time purchase of $9.99. No ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases. You pay once and own it forever.

Does Tally collect my data?

Tally collects only anonymous usage analytics via Firebase to help improve the app. No personal data is ever collected. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Quick Tips

Undo a mistake: Press Menu to open the controls overlay, then select Undo to revert the last score change.
Switch appearance: Tally follows your Apple TV system appearance. Go to Settings > General > Appearance to switch between Light and Dark.
Navigate quickly: Swipe on the Siri Remote touchpad to move between score buttons. Click to increment.
