Frequently Asked Questions

How do I change the reciter?

Go to the Settings tab and select your preferred reciter from the available list. Sajda offers over 200 reciters covering a wide range of styles and traditions. Your selection is saved automatically and applied the next time you play a surah.

Is the app free?

Sajda is free to download. Core Quran features including 200+ reciters, verse-by-verse sync, search, favorites, and playback controls are completely free. Premium features such as live TV channels, radio stations, prayer times, athan alerts, and premium backgrounds are available through a one-time in-app purchase. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.

Which devices are supported?

Sajda is available exclusively on Apple TV, including Apple TV 4K (all generations) and Apple TV HD. The app requires tvOS 17.0 or later and is optimized for your big screen with full Siri Remote support.

Can I request a new feature?

Absolutely! Send us an email with your suggestion and we'll consider it for future updates. Many of our best features, including Play All and Shuffle modes, came from user feedback. We read every message and appreciate your input.

How do I set up prayer times?

Sajda uses your Apple TV's location to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. Go to the Prayer Times section to view today's schedule and choose from 13 athan voices to receive alerts when each prayer time arrives.

Can I use Sajda for Quran memorization?

Yes. Use A-B repeat to loop specific verses for Hifz practice. Combined with playback speed control (0.5x to 2x) and focus mode, it's a powerful memorization tool. Verse-by-verse sync highlights each ayah on screen so you can follow along as you listen.

What languages does Sajda support?

Sajda supports 11 languages: English, Arabic, Turkish, French, Spanish, Urdu, Bengali, Indonesian, Russian, Swedish, and Chinese. The app automatically uses your Apple TV's language setting, and you can switch languages manually from within the app.

Does Sajda work offline?

Sajda streams Quran recitations over the internet for the best quality and widest reciter selection. An internet connection is required to play audio and access all features.
